Unlike their water softener counterparts, well water conditioners serve to alter the minerals in hard water but don’t remove them altogether.
Where softeners replace hard mineral content with softer minerals, like sodium or potassium, water conditioners for well water ionize those particles. This way, they won’t stick together and cause buildup on bathroom fixtures or in pipes as much. Therefore, while many of the problems associated with hard water will be solved, it doesn’t change the water’s mineral content. Intermittent flow rate does not represent the maximum service flow rate used for determining the conditioner’s rated capacity and efficiency.
- Continuous operation at flow rates greater than the certified flow rate may affect capacity and efficiency performance. The validity of these flow rates is verified by NSF.
- Increased amounts of clear water iron can reduce conditioner’s efficiency. Refer to owner’s manual for details. Wisconsin requires additional treatment if water supply contains greater than 5 ppm clear water iron.

- Our lifetime warranty covers rust, corrosion, leaks, or any other malfunctions that prevent your product from functioning.
- The 10-year warranty covers the valve body from defects in material or craftsmanship.
- The faceplate is covered for seven years from defects in materials and craftsmanship.
- All other parts are covered from defected materials or craftmanship for five years.
